A Halfway House is a residence for those who have completed treatment at a rehabilitation facility but are not yet ready to return to their community. Halfway houses provide daily support and structure in a cooperative living arrangement and assist the newly sober person in transitioning back into society to live independently. Sober Houses provide permanent residential housing for sober individuals.
