Inpatient treatment costs range from $5,000 to over $20,000 per month. All treatment organizations accept direct payment (self pay), some take insurance, and only a few have public funding for people who have neither. Outpatient programs are lower in cost than inpatient, are priced according to their schedule and have similar funding options. For individuals who need help due to alcohol and/or drugs, are Texas residents, have no income or are financially challenged. O.S.A.R. (Outreach, Screening, Assessment, Referral) is a free service funded by Texas State Department of Health Services.
