Residential treatment costs range from $5,000 to over $20,000 per month. Some organizations take insurance, have minimal public funding or only accept direct payment (self pay). Outpatient programs are lower in cost than residential, are priced according to their schedule and have similar funding options. For individuals who need help due to alcohol and/or drugs, are Texas residents, have no income or are financially challenged. O.S.A.R. (Outreach, Screening, Assessment, Referral) is a free service funded by Texas State Department of Health Services.
