COMMUNITIES FOR RECOVERY (CforR, formerly known as Volunteers at the Creek) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that partners with treatment centers and the community offering peer-based volunteer recovery support services to people living with alcoholism, chemical addiction and dual disorders.

They provide programs at their Peer Recovery Support Center at 4110 Guadalupe, Building 635 located in central Austin on the beautiful campus of the Austin State Hospital as well as on-site with the clients/patients or former patients at Austin Recovery, Texas Star Recovery, and Seton Shoal Creek Hospital.
